Experience is not necessary, but the perfect candidate should
value work, art, community, and Durham
have skills in customer service, writing, all things social media, and event-planning
have a desire to learn more about all of these things and see Mercury Studio grow!
This position requires about 10 hours a week and is unpaid, but does include a free cafe membership and the opportunity to help grow a real, community-minded startup right here in downtown Durham.
Duties will include: managing our work study program, helping to plan and host Third Friday art receptions and other events, writing posts for our blog, The Orbit, and using our social media outlets to promote our space and our members.
